We now have an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Business Partner to join our team based in Melbourne.
About the opportunity
The Risk & Compliance Business Partner will work closely with the Senior Manager, Risk & Compliance to promote and embed risk and compliance frameworks across ISPT. You will partner with business units to ensure they meet their risk and compliance obligations, resolve non-compliance issues, maintain registers, and ensure accurate risk and compliance reporting to management, the Board, and regulators.
Other tasks will include
• Conducting risk and compliance assessment reviews.
• Providing specialist training and education to business units.
• Contributing to projects with specialist risk and compliance advice.
• Managing incidents and ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance risk management practices.
• Undertaking additional risk and compliance initiatives as needed.
About you
We are looking for a proactive individual with experience in risk and compliance within the financial services industry (preferred). You will have a deep understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance obligations and be able to engage with stakeholders effectively. You also bring your experience in GRC Solutions (Protecht) to monitor and manage Risk & Compliance activities.
• Experience in controls assurance and risk assessment.
• Degree in accounting or law (desirable).
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CISA, CIA, CFA, or MBA (desirable).
• Big4 auditing experience (desirable).
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
• High initiative, energy, and ability to meet deadlines independently.
