We now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Development Manager to join our Investment & Development team based in Sydney.
About the opportunity
As the Senior Development Manager, you will manage two existing retail developments with confirmed funding. The opportunity to work on a significant unique, placemaking opportunity presents itself within one of these developments. In addition to these developments, we are looking for someone with the initiative and expertise to identify further value that can be unlocked within the retail portfolio.
Working as part of a broader project development team, under the leadership of a Development Project Director, key tasks that you will be responsible for include:
· Oversee and manage all aspects of the retail development to ensure alignment with budgets, metrics, program, quality and stakeholder expectations.
· Implementing the retail development strategy.
· Overseeing the retail Project Management team.
· Work closely with Tenant Partners, Asset Managers and Centre Teams to align expectations through the development phase.
About you
· You will have extensive experience, as a Senior Development Manager, leading developments within the retail sector, through all project phases.
· Tertiary qualification in property, construction, finance or related field is preferred.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of development processes, construction and design principles, feasibility, construction, retail planning and master planning, town planning, leasing and valuation principles.
Given the role requires you to work as part of a larger development team, it is also important that you demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with other Development Mangers / Senior Development Managers.
